Better Care, S.L. is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the UNE-EN 301 549:2022 standard ("Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services"), which constitutes the technical reference for the WCAG 2.2 level AA guidelines.
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.bettercarehealth.com/.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with UNE-EN 301 549:2022 / WCAG 2.2 AA, due to the exceptions and non-compliance of the aspects indicated below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
a) Non-compliance with UNE-EN 301 549:2022.
- Non-text Content (9.1.1.1). There are informative images and icon-based controls (search, social media, some buttons) without an adequate text alternative.
- Info and Relationships / Headings and Labels (9.1.3.1 and 9.2.4.6). The heading structure is not always hierarchical and headings are used for visual purposes; the search field is identified only by placeholder text.
- Minimum Contrast and Non-text Contrast (9.1.4.3 and 9.1.4.11). Some text and icons do not meet the required minimum contrast ratio.
- Pause, Stop, Hide (9.2.2.2). Background videos and the logo marquee play automatically in a loop without a mechanism to pause them.
- Focus Visible (9.2.4.7). The keyboard focus indicator is not visible on some elements of the main navigation.
- Link purpose / Name, role, and value (9.2.4.4 and 9.4.1.2). Some links and buttons do not provide a sufficient accessible name for assistive technology.
- Forms (9.3.3.1, 9.3.3.2, 9.3.3.3, and 9.4.1.3). Error identification, correction suggestions, and form status messages may not be correctly announced by screen readers.
- PDF documents. The linked PDF certificate may not be correctly tagged for reading with assistive technology.
b) Disproportionate burden. No exceptions for disproportionate burden are claimed in this statement.
c) Content not within the scope of applicable legislation. [Indicate, if applicable, exempt content such as embedded third-party videos, maps, etc.]
