BC DOCS: Feasibility assessment of BC Link® with integration of hospital building automation systems

European feasibility project assessing the integration of interoperable clinical platforms with hospital building automation systems. It enables connection between clinical data and smart infrastructure to improve operational efficiency and user experience. Its approach extends the value of data beyond clinical use, supporting more connected, automated and patient-centred hospital environments through advanced digital technologies.

To validate the technical and commercial integration between clinical systems and hospital infrastructure, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience. The project aims to demonstrate the value of interoperability in new environments, support adoption of digital solutions and explore innovative business models based on integration of clinical data and smart systems.

• International validation of Better Care’s connectivity solution in strategic markets outside the EU.
• Technological adaptation to comply with international standards for interoperability and clinical data management.
• Promotion of public–private collaboration to accelerate digital health adoption in emerging economies.
